Betty and Jake made us feel so welcome we didn't want to leave. Everything was just perfect and it showed in the details. The room and pool area was spotless. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings and the free continental breakfast saved us a couple bucks each day so we had more money to do other things. Free wireless Internet helped us stay connected to home too. The location is great too. Close enough to all the action but not too close to be obtrusive. This is a "must stay" if you like a good B&B with the Palm Springs charm!

My husband and I just returned from my weekend birthday celebration in Palm Springs. It was our 1st trip to Palm Springs and we were not quite sure where to stay. We usually end up in the bigger hotel "chains" but when I started researching places to stay on Trip Advisor, I couldn't find one that really seemed to stand out. So I started searching the B&B's and I came across the Rendezvous and I was instantly intrigued. I could not get over how many glowing reviews this establishment had. And now that I was able to experience it for myself, all I can say is WOW!!! These reviews were spot on!

Don't let the simple exterior fool you, once you enter the Rendezvous doors and walk into the courtyard, you will instantly be transported back to the 1950's! What could be better than lounging by the immaculate pool while sipping your dee-lish Blue Martini during cocktail hour, mingling with the other guests (like some great folks we met from Canada) and listening to the sounds of Frank Sinatra and Patsy Cline??? Absolutely nothing! Well nothing except the fantastic homemade breakfast you receive each morning and the fabulous treats that are waiting by your bedside each night when you return from your hikes, tram rides or shopping trips in Palm Springs. This place is truly a Bed AND BREAKFAST! Think peach pancakes and sun dried tomato & pesto omelets along w/their famous smoothies and fruit plates. Can you say "Yum?"

When we first arrived, we were immediately greeted BY NAME by Betty. Betty was very sweet, very funny and very helpful. She gave us that personal experience you just cannot get at the “chain hotels.” She helped us secure discount tickets to some of the local attractions and she was quick to offer her assistance in making dinner reservations for us if need be. Jake, who is not only the mastermind behind the wonderful breakfasts, is also a great bartender, a great storyteller and and an all around jack of all trades who obviously takes pride in the wonderful service he provides to the guests at the Rendezvous. ALL of the staff were very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. They truly make you feel like part of the Rendezvous family.

And as all of the other reviews said, the accommodations were very comfortable, clean and kitschy!!! You can't go wrong with any of the rooms, as they all have their own unique theme. We stayed in the Silver Screen room, which looked out at the snow-covered San Jacinto Mountains. We loved our spa tub, the comfy bed and robes, and the fridge stocked with beverages. By the end of our stay, we were humming the tunes of Oklahoma. "Oh what a beautiful mornin'..."

We were originally only supposed to stay at the Rendezvous for two nights, but we enjoyed ourselves SO much, we stayed a third night!!! If that doesn't indicate what kind of fabulous accommodations, atmosphere and staff you will find at the Rendezvous, I'm not sure what will!!! As the last reviewer said, “Go! What are you waiting for?!”

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Rendezvous in Palm Springs. All the wonderful reviews of this B&B on tripadvisor are absolutely true. We stayed in Crooners, a room dedicated to the Rat Pack. It was an immaculate red and gold room with marvelous old photos and posters. Jacuzzi tub, plush robes, flat screen TV and an incredibly comfortable bed made this a perfect retro room.

The pool area complete with a hot tub is very laid back and relaxing. You can see snow capped mountains as you kick back in your lounge chair! Each room has a microwave, coffee pot (with fresh ground coffee) and mini refrigerator stocked daily with water and soft drinks. Home baked treats are delivered to your room each afternoon. Rendez-blue martinis, wine and appetizers are served pool side at happy hour. All these amenities are included!!!!

The Rendezvous staff is what makes this B&B such a special place. We had the pleasure of meeting Jake, Barb, Betty and Gabrielle. They are all fantastic and do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one. They go out of their way to give personalized service without ever being intrusive.

We visited Joshua Tree and also hiked Palm Canyon in Indian Canyon. Both were truly amazing excursions. We can’t wait to return to the rendezvous. What are you waiting for? Stop reading all these reviews and just book it. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Have been to Palm Springs many times, in many great places, but this beats all for outright value. The rooms are individually done around a theme...ours was Hawaiii. Cute treatment, nice furnishings and adequate in all amenitites. Poolside was very nice. Comfortable chairs for sunning, nice pool, jacuzzi, colorful towels and no distractions. There are only ten rooms so it is never crowded. The manager and asssistants are just great...not over solicitous but always helpful. Afternoon drinks around the pool bar are fun (and free) and the atmosphere is fine for making new friends.Breakfast (also included without additional charge) is unusually good. We were there for four days and could have used several more..

Thanks to Jake, Betty and Gabrielle! Each time we come to stay it gets better! We feel so special and cared for each time we come. Our freinds that joined us are still talking about it and we are looking forward to staying again in August. Food was divine service us so above par they don't even have a rating on here high enough for me! Thanks again and see you soon. I better stop telling people about how wonderful you all are or there won't be room for us! lol.
