Recently we went to the Parker for a weekend get away.. and it certainly was !! upon entering you are transported to the 1970's in decor and set up. We were escorted back to our bungalow thru rolling hedges and laid out courts for Bocci, croquet, hammocks etc. You feel as if you are the only ones there. its a hidden gem. The rooms was felt like Playboy After Dark. very modern '70s with 1974 magazines I the room. The design was fantastic and sleek and clean. The swimming pool and spa are like something from the Hamptons circa 1968. every detail taken with great care to make this a Palm Springs Gem. The only complaint we could even think of was the main restaurant was very old school as well, with not much on the menu for healthy eaters. Large Large steaks etc. but good nonetheless. The spa treatments were up to par and its and amusing looking Yatch club vibe.

Dear Halivamatan,

We love that you took full advantage of the many gems scattered throughout the Estate. And aren't the small plates at Counter Reformation amazing? My personal favorites are the Charred Black Pepper Beef Carpaccio and Braised Baby Artichoke Hearts- what about you?

Sincerely,

The Parker has been around roughly 14 years and It's still on point. The grounds are stunning. We and our crew took two villas over the Memorial Day weekend. These Villas are positioned close to the adult pool and bar/lemonade stand and have their own enclosed, very private courtyard. The way it is set up makes one feel as though it's a friends private casita. The decor is jonathan Adler, very hip and very Palm Springs.
This is a pet friendly hotel, which I love because I am an animal lover. They do however charge what most would consider a fairly large fee relative to other properties. At this time it's $200 per night (not per stay) non refundable.
However, my boy (Skylor) was welcome in all areas of the hotel with open arms and smiles.
Mister Parker's restaurant is a must experience. The ambience, music and service is unparalleled in the desert. It's actually one of my top five favorite places to dine in both LA and the desert. A special shout out to the manager at Mister Parker, Michael Crawford, he's first class and he knows how to treat guests.
Also Arthur at the adult pool for making sure Skylor and I never ran out of champagne.
The manager and staff here understand what the hospitality industry is about and they deliver.
Favorite property in the desert. Hands down.

Room Tip: The website gives excellent details on the rooms. If you can splurge, get a Villa by the adult pool and lemonade stand.

The decor is amazingly impressive. The rooms are quite large and the toiletries they provide in the bathroom are from top notch brands. The restaurants are pricey but delicious and have great ambiance. Highly recommend the hotel overall and will definitely be back.
