“Decent place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2012

Room was clean and nice, the resort fee and paying for parking in the almost empty parking garage when this is not qualified as a resort was not so good. But the staff was very helpful and the gym was nice.

Thanks for taking the time to write a nice review on Trip Advisor. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our parking rates are $15.00 for self-parking and $20.00 for Valet (which is great service) and our resort fee is $15.00 per night. These fees are very competitve with all of the other major hotels in Palm Springs and we are the only hotel that offers covered parking for your car in this extreme heat! We have this information available also on our website so it's not a surprise to our guests. Thanks so much for staying with us and I hope you will be back again soon!

We needed a place to stay before moving into our condo and booked a night at the Hyatt Regency Suites in Palm Springs. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. It's in the middle of downtown Palm Springs so once you park the car, you can walk to pretty much anything you want or need. Our room was a suite as advertised. There is a nice living room area with a desk, couch and coffee table. A dry bar is outside the bathroom which separates the living room and bed room. Our bedroom had a beautiful balcony and mountain view. It was really quiet both in the hallway and outside the balcony. The bed was really comfortable. Colors are a dark grey palate. Plus the hotel is pet friendly. There is a nice pool area which we didn't use. There are rooms in this hotel that open out to the pool and if you don't mind the noise, the location is great for enjoying that area. Some rooms overlook the pool and have balconies overlooking it. This was not a good option for us because we really like the quiet. There was a happy hour with snacks and reduced price drinks which was nice. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good, too - but not included.

Room Tip: If you like quiet, you may not want to overlook the pool area. All rooms seem to be attractive and...

Congratulations on the purchase of your new condo! And now that you have experienced our hotel first hand...you have a place to put your guests who come and visit you in Palm Springs! After all....we are a destination and I'm sure you will get lots of company! One advantage we have over the other large hotels in Palm Springs is that we are an all suite hotel so you get more than just a bedroom which is great especially for families with children. And we love your dog, cat, bird etc! Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to write a wonderful review of our property. Enjoy your new living quarters! Cheers.

We stayed in a deluxe king suite, since we were 3 friends traveling together. Very pretty rooms, nice location. Great people. The only issue we had was at breakfast, when we each ordered separate things and then were charged for the buffet breakfast. Our waiter conveniently disappeared and we had to get another waiter to assist us. Finally got it cleared up, never saw our waiter again, except when he peered around a partition at us. When we were there, it was about 110 degrees and too hot to even think about going outside to the pool. We stayed in the bar instead and that was fine.

Thank you for bringing to my attention the challenge you had in our restaurant. I will be following up with our F&B Director on this and have him review this with the food and beverage team so that another guest does not have this same experience. I'm happy to read that the rest of your stay was "worth it" and hope that you come back again soon.

Cory couldn't have been nicer and Jackie was so helpful. Erin is the front desk manager and shows why customer service is so exceptional. Great room for a great price!

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2012

We have been been there there before and we loved it. We went back with family and their service left much to be desired. The mini refrigerator had spoiled food in it and after 2 requests to have it cleaned we cleaned it ourselves. There was vomit around the pool, but in all fairness they cleaned it up after we informed them. Our room keys stopped working, when we complained they informed us it was a scheduled security check and failed to inform us. One night as we were enjoying the outdoor lounge area, they turned off all the lights at 10pm and didn't even inform us or apologize before doing so. We requested turndown service and they never showed up. When we complained, they said they had accidently marked our room completed. The hotel was full that weekend and there didn't seem to be enough staff. It's really too bad because it is a nice hotel.

Room Tip: The Cabana Suites are awesome! If you go during summer, ask for a room within the airconditioned sec...
