So much fun and energy on the Drive. Fun to shop during the day with plenty of restaurants. Lots of interesting people watching. Make sure you attend the street fair every Thurs nite.

Palm Canyon Drive is the lifeblood of downtown Palm Springs. It is adorned with many restaurants, souvenir shops, clothing stores, wine, cigars, ice cream, Sees Chocolates, etc. If you're looking for a "happening place" you will find it on North Palm Canyon Drive. There are always people milling about and enjoying the day or evening. It truly is a fun place to be. If you want real excitement, visit Palm Canyon Drive on Thursday evenings during the Street Fair. Artists, chefs, and other creative individuals display their many wares.

Highly recommend the street fair that is once or twice a month. Many vendors out along the closed streets mixed in with the open shops and eateries. Can be a very peaceful evening just taking in the scene.
