“The Most Fantastic Fish Tacos - Ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

The food was wonderful. First course was an avacado soup - I even asked the server to get the recipe for me; he said "sorry, no." My fish taco was a lightly fried red snapper, rolled with a cabbage slaw in a fresh flour tortilla. My husband had a plain ground beef soft taco and a cheese enchalada and declared them excellent. When they brought the check it came with a fresh made apple toquito dusted with cinnemon sugar. This restaurant is one of the best reasons to go back to the City of Orange.

“Yummy Find, And Will Be Back!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2011

I discovered this gem in an impromptu drive thru Orange County. In reading reviews, it appears to have been around for a long time. Seems to have consistently good marks in service, price, service and of course the food! So, I decided to check it out :

There is currently construction along Main St, so its a bit torn up out front, but they are open for business.

You cant miss the building - painted vibrant red and green with a huge chili pepper above it for their sign. The inside is just as colorful as outside. There are green plants everywhere and a big fountain right in the middle of the restaurant!

Its a very family friendly place - the waiters blow up balloons for the kids at each table. It would be a fun date restaurant, but definitely not the place if you are looking for someplace quiet and/or romantic.

The menu is about 4 or 5 pages and they are packed with choice after choice of amazing sounding entrees! They even have a champagne brunch on Saturdays and Sundays!

I started off with a Watermelon Margarita and some water (got to stay hydrated you know )

The service was very fast for a busy Saturday night. I had my dinner in less than 15 minutes after ordering.

Chicken Fajita Chimichanga - Chunks of marinated and spiced chicken, refried beans, green and red peppers, sour cream, and onions all packed inside and deep fried. And served with a side of guacamole. You also have the option of having it covered in sauce and melted cheese for an additonal $.99 (which I did).

The chimi was huge - needed a knife and fork to cut and eat it. The filling was spread well throughout, no spots of one thing or another missing.

All in all a very fun and unique place to eat. I will definitely return, even if its just for the brunch

This is a great place for lunch dinner or Sunday brunch. Great food and great service. I have been going there for over 10 years.
