I sure hope that this house is restored and can be enjoyed by all, not just Tom Cruise... It is steps from the beach and gives a more relaxed and laid back perspective of how life must have been at the beach in the past.

This lovely 1887 Queene Anne Victorian cottage once was the summer place for Dr. Henry Grave and has great (but aging) bones. Its claim to fame was that it played a major role in the 1986 movie "Top Gun." Tom Cruise' love interest in "Top Gun" (Kelley MCGillis) lived here. This piece of history was built a year before the city was incorporated in 1888.
