My business trip took me to the area again, and I stupidly decided to stay here again. Nothing went right, everything could go wrong went wrong.
1) Insanely difficult to get in and out - the street in front of the hotel is under construction, so you can only turn right when leaving the hotel. The hotel makes NO MENTION of this issue on its website, and pretend this is not an issue. The street is a major corridor, so you basically have to wait 10-15 minutes just to turn out from the parking lot or turn into the parking lot!!! If you are timid with driving, then you will be stuck with cars blazing by and won't let you cut in. I went to get some food around 6pm, and it took me almost 20 minutes to turn from the street into the parking lot - I am not joking!
2) Internet access is like back 20 years... Their system has a password login screen that is constantly asking for password. Instead of a timed based access per login or MAC address of your network access card, the system lock you out when your WiFi disconnects from the router, either you walked too far and the system can't handle off your signal, or you put your device to sleep. I logged in over 60 times just in one day - it was the most irritating thing ever! Every time this happened, I had to relogin into my company VPN, which is super inconvenient. Who the heck designed that system?
3) They cheat you out of your free breakfast. There was a prominent sign in the breakfast area saying breakfast is now served to noon for a limited time, so you can sleep in. Because of this, I scheduled some conference calls early in the morning . When I arrived for have breakfast around 10am, I was told breakfast service had ended. When I referred to the sign, I was told it's only for weekends. Well, there was such disclaimer, hidden in the sign in small print, which is definitely not obvious and you had to look for it. This is definitely very poor advertising practice.
Overall, I can't find much redeeming quality during my stay...
