My wife had a conference at the nearby CIA Copia so we decided to stay at the Capernet House. It was very convenient to the CIA location and within easy walking distance to downtown restaurants. Amvic is an excellent innkeeper and answered all of our questions and is great to deal with. The inn is very nice as is the afternoon wine reception & treats. The chef, Jeff, prepared wonderfully breakfasts. Our room, Starry Night was very nice and the only concern I have is with the antique claw foot bath tub. Since I have some balance issues, I have trouble with those antique tubs since they are freestanding with no sides or rails, they have nothing to hold on to when taking a shower. The antique tub should at least be mentioned when booking the room. This is a small problem that admittitedly may not affect most people but it is important to some of us. Other than one small detail it was a great stay!

Service and Inn Keeper was Fantastic. Always asking us what we like and informing us on places to visit. Rooms were clean and very nice. Would return and find the food and accommodations a bargain for NAPa. A must visit for all.

Booked this charming bed and breakfast for a girls trip to Napa Valley. We stayed in Walk in the Clouds suite, which is right next door to Cabernet House in the Merlot House. The suite was very spacious, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel host Amvic was so friendly and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine hour in evenings and the daily breakfast was delicious. They provided everything we needed including coffee and water throughout the day and even makeup remover wipes in the suite! The location was amazing. Just a short walk to downtown Napa, the wine train depot, Oxbow Market and more. This BnB is going to be my go-to spot for my next trip to Napa for sure!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the "Chocolat" room. The room is located on the 2nd floor right off of the staircase. This room is quite large and very beautiful. The bed is also very comfortable. Please be aware that the stairs are creaky so if you are a light sleeper this may not be the room for you. We had no issues with noise because we had the air unit running the whole time so we didn't hear anyone going up or down the stairs. This bed and breakfast had lots of charm and character and we would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is good and I found the place to be very clean. There is also a free tasting everynight at the sister inn (Hotel Napa Valley). Definitely check it out! The location of this inn is also wonderful. Its just a short walk to the tasting rooms and restaurants in Napa. And I have to mention that Dolly and Amvic did a wonderful job of taking care of the guests at this bed and breakfast.

We just finished a few night’s stay at the Inn and enjoyed it. We met very nice people at breakfast, and really enjoyed the separate cottage and the quiet it provided.

They tried to accommodate our tricky dietary restrictions but it seemed that it was hard for them to do, even though we kept asking just for toast and were willing to eat cereal.

I’ll definitely give them a chance if we’re back in Napa again.
