Four of us shared 6 creative aps, 4 original main courses & two perfect desserts and we went home sparked, not overfed but totally satisfied. Beautifully finished almonds. What was the brilliant crudo? Rich but not fatty short rib. Gnocci light floating in air & a pasta dish they would kill for in Sicily. Wine list was pricey & it took a while for the servers to leave us alone but this place is doing great work.

Top service and a first class food. The artichoke soup I had was heavenly! The piggy belly was excellent as well. The wine selection is vast and good. It’s not a cheap restaurant but the food was first class.

We chose this restaurant based on trip advisor reviews and anticipated great food and a fun atmosphere . The wine selection was unimpressive , the Brussel Sprouts were overly salty and the mustard overpowered the dish. We shared the strip for 2. It was cooked perfectly for us (medium rare) but it was tough and I did not like the flavor at all (barnyardy).
Our waiter sealed the deal for a bad review. He started out okay but was less than enthusiastic as the evening progressed even though we had not complained. When we asked for our bill we did say we were underwhelmed with the Mac n cheese accompaniment because we selected the black truffle topping and it was tasteless. (The owner came over and apologized about the truffles and said we were the 2nd table that was not happy with the dish. She took off the charge for the truffles and was very nice about it. ) However, when our waiter brought our bill he dropped it at our table & quickly rushed off, without a thank you, have a nice evening , or anything. This was a rare time that we left less than a 20% tip.
I hate to write bad reviews because maybe it was just a bad night for Torc.

If you enjoy creative cooking, where texture and color combine to enhance taste, this is a great choice. If you want a massive menu or plates overflowing with food, look elsewhere. I went with a group during a business meeting. Despite a large table of 12, the service was on point, prompt and attentive. I started with the beet appetizer, which reminded me of a painter’s palette. The colors, composition, and contrasting textures was a little bit of heaven. My ravioli entree was small - a few pillows of ricotta filled pasta floating in a squash puree. Size does not matter. This small and elegant dish was satisfying and brought a variety of surprising taste explosions. Dessert was a deconstructed carrot cake. Fun.

Went with friends from Napa for a nice dinner. The friends were great...the food so so. We had the set 3 course meal. I had japanese HAMACHI CRUDO, schmitz ranch Pork Belly and star route farm CARROT CAKE. The Hamachi was a bit to vinegary, the Pork Belly was a little too chewy (Not as tender as I like it)...the dessert was GREAT!!! The service was helpful and a little close.
