Had a wonderful dinner at Murphys Hotel last night. Four of us. We started with fried calamari...delicious with the addition of fried onions and jalapeños. We followed with French Onion soup. Perfect! One had rib eye steak, one had fish and chips, another the ribs and I had their fish. All meals were fabulous. Beautiful presentation. Service outstanding. Definitely worth a return visit.

While in town, we celebrated with friends in the bar. It was quaint, well stocked, and the bartender was very friendly. We all ordered a somewhat unusual drink, but he was able to make it and it was quite tasty. It's not a bad place to relax and enjoy the scenery of this cute town.

Before we went wine tasting we stopped here for lunch. The outdoor patio is wonderful and the food was great. Recommend the fish and chips and the patty melt. The historic hotel is worth a walk through.

Went there Saturday for my birthday lunch & a little foothills outing, nice to get away if just for a few hours. We see several, least five, empty tables outside, go inside, only two tables had peopled seated at them. Lady asks if we had reservations & we said no, she told us she couldn't seat us until after one.....there were lots of open tables & absolute no line.........it's 12:20. I should have asked how many reservations they were waiting for. Oh well, we had a wonderful lunch elsewhere & learned not to go back to the Murphy's Hotel. Bad business. Usually give positive feedback but this is way out of line.

Hi there sorry you weren't able to eat here however Our Patio is very popular and if there were empty tables at anytime on a Saturday or Sunday it was just to reset and then wait to seat the next reservation probably waiting in the Saloon. Just because there are tables without guests doesn't mean they are available. Again sorry but unsure why a bad review because we were unable to seat you immediately on our Patio.

Stayed here and found it quaint and charming. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant and lounge were nice. My dinner was delicious and the staff was friendly and informative. Would definitely go back. The wine tasting in the area was a bonus.
