My husband and I lodged here over 30 years ago, several times. We took the windy Hwy 1 to experience the inn again. The Hwy was torn up but we finally made it. We were in time for lunch in the pub. They serve pub food all day, and it"s themed for the inn. Shepard pie, bangers and mash, Guineas stew and fish & chips for example. The prices were reasonable and the food was pretty good. The Shepard pie and stew were best (to me). The French fries are quite good. Our bartender was entertaining, full colorful dialog. I highly recommend the period decorated rooms for lodging.
