So glad Gochi opened up closer to us! This place takes reservations and so we never have to wait forever!
I like the set up and decoration - really gives it an authentic feel. The sakes are are all pretty good. Their tapas range from a couple bites to large portions. If you come for lunch there's a sampler with multiple items that's really reasonable. Try the items on their special menu as those are updated.
Some of the items I've tried:
Kimchee and pork rice bowl - flavorful and filling
Chicken wing deep fried with seven spice - dry... pass
Kanpachi kama with salt - very good. They run out often so be sure to order it!
Beef tataki - good
Duck with some sort of sauce - very tender and flavorful
Asari miso - clams seems like they were added after the soup is cooked so it was flavorless. Soup was good, but I'd just get the mushroom miso in the future
