A great little restaurant right off the main road in Mountain View. Great service and very friendly staff. All the sushi was very good and fresh. The house Saki (warm) was excellent! the restaurant is not overly pricy.

We used to go to this sushi place ALL the time... weekends we were always there.. Then recently we went in and they've changed their menu. They used to have a wide variety of sushi rolls to choose from and some were very inexpensive. Last time we went in, they kept all the high priced rolls, raised the prices to the special sushi for the night and then cut off people getting Miso Soup when they'd order an appetizer.

Like all great sushi places, they changed and started wanting more $$ for their food.. They lost us as customers now that they went up in price..

We get takeout from here one to two times a week. In addition to good Salmon sashimi, Salmon Teriyaki (so good that our kids ask for the sauce on the side), udon soups, and various Tuna sushi rolls, we also like that it has cheap veggie rolls (such as avocado) for the kids. Please note that parking is bad and getting worse in Mountain View, so we end up parking three blocks away and walking even only to pick up food. Also note that this place has been closed on Mondays starting in 2017.
We have gone with extended family and they love the fancy sushi that these place offers as well as the warm sake.

What a pleasant surprise! We had put our names down at the other sushi place down the road (Sushi Tomi) but it was impossible to get a table even after waiting for an hour...this place is so efficient, in just 15 min after putting our names down we got a table and the place was packed and very busy.

Between 4 of us, we ordered a bunch of sushi plates starting with:

- few nigiris (red snapper, hamachi and mackarel) which were lovely indeed
- sushi rolls like the super crunchy spider roll, california with baked salmon on top, salmon with tuna on top roll, spicy tuna roll, chewy lover roll, haba saba roll, eel salmon roll and everything was delicious and fresh
- 3 veg rolls for a friend who was vegetarian

We paired our sushi with warm sake and cold sake. I prefer hot sake. Service was wonderful, I can't believe they even let us order 20 min before shutting and were so patient and friendly at that point in time. Very well priced as well.

Place is crowded and relatively small but not too small that you feel cramped. Bathrooms were neat. All in all, this place rocks and would totally go there again.

Great sushi place near the "happening" part of town (i.e. just few steps off Castro St) serving very FRESH sushi and sashimi. They have cozy normal seating as well as sushi bar style seating. The price range was surprisingly low for the quality and portions served (huge nigiri sushi and bowl dishes). Lovely variety in the menu. Interesting Silicon Valley names too (lol Microsoft Roll and Google Roll). Decided I'll come back here to try out other dishes, especially the fresh Asian style steamed fish dish I've being eyeing at the other table.

Thank Sitie
