Recently traveled from San Francisco Bay Area to Central Oregon with my 92 y/o ADA gramma. We decided to spend the night along the way, somewhere around scenic Mt. Shasta. After seeing great reviews and good pricing online, we decided to try “The Inn at Mount Shasta”. Even though we received an online confirmation, Dan, the manager, contacted me to confirm and reassure us that the room would be ready. Great service! Gramma was happy.
This was at the time of the big fire in Northern California and we spoke with Sean, at the Inn, on the phone, who kept us up to date with road conditions and access information which was very helpful.
When we arrived, we met Sean at the front desk, who was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and remodeled with a fantastic view of nearby Mt. Shasta, despite smoke from the fires. After a relaxing rest, we found many places to choose from to eat and enjoyed a nice meal. The beds were very comfortable and the area was quiet. We had a good night's sleep and gramma was ready for the road again.
I highly recommend The Inn at Mount Shasta.

We had a problem with our vehicle and ended up needing to stay overnight. We found the Inn at Mount Shasta and then another local we met during the day recommended the same place. When we checked in the front desk staff was friendly, easy going and relatable. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept well, comfortable bed and there wasn’t any road noise or excess light. The climate control system worked well and we had hot water and good water pressure for our showers.

When we asked about good delivery dinner, they recommended “Say Cheese Pizza” - they had an extensive menu of more than just pizza, their food was excellent!

For an unexpected delay this has been a fabulous experience! We feel like we have many new friends in Mt. Shasta. We highly recommend staying at the Inn at Mt. Shasta, taking a walk, seeing their beautiful town, and meeting cool people.

Dan & crew, Thank you! We will be back again!

Thank you, R&R Brock! We really enjoyed meeting you last night and spending some more time with you today. I know Mount Shasta wasn't initially in your plans, but we're grateful that everything worked out so well for you. Hopefully you're well on your way back home--new car parts and all!
Best regards,
Dan

Newly decorated spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom with good shower and plenty of hot water. Quiet area in a good location with a variety of eating places for breakfast, lunch and dinner within walking distance. Privately owned Inn with a genuine welcome, which is both friendly and informative. Good value for money in this area and are confident to recommend this to others.

Room Tip: King room style is excellent

Once a month we drive from Central Oregon to Sacramento so we've stayed a number of hotels along the way. Mount Shasta City is a frequent stop and we usually stay at a hotel right off the I-5, but this trip we decided to explore other options.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the parking lot of the Inn at Mount Shasta. When we pulled in we called the Inn and spoke with Dan, who turned out to be the new owner. Dan's voice changed us from feeling apprehensive to optimistic. My wife and I stayed here a couple years ago and left thinking we probably wouldn't be back. But we could tell things had changed when the voice on the phone said, where are you? We're in the parking lot, was our reply. Well get in here, said Dan. Well, we did and we're glad we did. Dan was very friendly, and accommodating, and the rooms at the Inn are large, clean, and well appointed. Our room had a very comfortable king bed, large flat panel TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave, and great lighting. The bathroom had a combination tub/shower, a really nice shower head, and of course a commode, vanity and sink.

Dan let us know that he could recommend restaurants if we were interested. We said Italian and he said try Mike and Tony's, which was excellent.

The rates at the Inn at Mount Shasta are very reasonable and it's within walking distance of a number of restaurants. The bottom line is that we will be back and we've already recommended it to friends. Two thumbs up, Dan.

We just came back from our weekend trip to Mount Shasta and we stayed at Inn at Mount Shasta. We were pleasantly surprised to find an updated inn compared to the other lodging places in the area. It's clean and looks like it has been recently renovated. The king bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious with complete amenities. It has everything you need--mini fridge, microwave oven, fan, aircon, TV, couch and bathroom with toiletries. We were outdoors during the day and had a good place to rest at night.
The owner Dan provides excellent customer service. It makes me wonder if he ever sleeps. :) We had our window open during our stay and it was quiet. If I could give a suggestion, it would be nice to add lotion to the toiletries. :) It's in a great location close to places to eat (breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner...you name it) and to Mount Shasta , Lake Siskiyou and McCloud Falls. We loved our stay and will be coming back.
P.S. They are also dog friendly so if you have a furry friend, give the inn a call to book. Dan put in a doggie bowl and a dog bed for our small terrier. Check out is at 11am, but we asked Dan if we could check out at noon and he was accommodating. Also though we arrived late at 10:30 p.m. for check in, he was understanding and was there to meet us. Thumbs up to this place!

Thank you so much! It made me very happy to read this and I really enjoyed meeting you this weekend. We're so glad you were able to use us as your base camp to explore so many of the highlights in and near town--I know you needed the R&R, and it's great that you found our little spot to be fresh, comfortable and welcoming. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Best regards,
Dan
