Was Clean and the beds and the overall atmosphere were okay. When we checked in I found the nice smell of Beef BBQ being cooked in the restaurant area, May have the best BBQ in town: However, my wife cannot eat Beef, so we ate supper elsewhere and took in a movie at the local cinema for my 76th birthday.
The room we stayed in had the appearance of an updated 1950's motel room. The water was hot for the shower, the A/C, TV, and lights all worked. We stayed there Sep 19 and the Room Rate was $140 + Tax per night. which included a breakfast. The October Room Rates look like they've lowered to $80 per night, from checking on-line. For those $140 prices the motel should include their BBQ Dinners. The breakfast menu, I believe, was waffles, eggs, flavored yogurts, & coffee. Might suggest adding "Plain Greek Yogurt" to the menu because the Weight Watchers Guidebook shows the Flavored Yogurts as 3-7 points, whereas, Plain Greek Yogurt is 0 points.More
