The room was large, clean & cozy. It had recently been updated but still felt like it belonged on Route 66. Out our window you could see the hills. My only complaint was bed was too hard for my achy back.

They do not appreciate returning guests. This last time the lady told us over the phone that we could just show up on Friday for our usual double-beds for $69.99. When we got there, the guy said they only had one room left and because it's one with a king size bed it would be $88 instead. We had no time to go elsewhere since we drive in from Las Vegas, Our daughter had to share the bed with us. The rooms were definitely not all booked. We kept checking, and the parking lot never filled. No activity of more people checking in that night. That's a typical scheme of money-hungry business! Took our business elsewhere for the next 2 nights.
Cockroaches in the rooms upon checkin. Took pictures and went back to the manager who said, "it happens all the time". I was not offered a refund or credit but still charged the full price after complaining. Checked out immediately.
Workers are rude. Management did not handle accordingly. Avoid this place, total rip off.
Don"t let the old sign fool you. If you are traveling and on a budget. Like most of us are , these day's. This is a good spot to kick off your shoes. There recent renovations, and upgrades have really bumped it up a notch or two. Not to mention, all the new places that have just gone up. Right next door is a new car wash and a del taco. Across from that is a shopping center with a Target / grocery store. Dennys, Sonic burger. Smoke shop and the best Car Rental agency in the SGV. Budget or Avis. Sweetest gal ever, runs it or owns it. She has one way rentals . Enterprise across the way, does not. Very poor management at enterprise. Starbucks down the way and banks all within walking distance. Exit Mountain ave go north to Huntington drive, turn right I"ts on your left. Simple.
Ok this is the second time I have been here in the past month and unlike the first time where my $80 got me a semi decent newly renovated room with a king sized bed, I am actually sitting in the car outside of the room which I was given which was also $80 but what came along with this room was far worse than I could have ever imagined. Pictures are included.. Upon entering the room I noticed the filthy carpet that hasn't been vacuumed since it was installed and the even worse part was when I can closer to the bed and noticed front and center a huge white fluid stain which your imagination can only figure. And as if this wasn't bad enough I go to the restroom and notice brown stains on the corner tile right by the shower which I'm positive isn't chocolate. After taking pictures of all my findings i immediately go back to the office to ask for a room change where I was rudely told I had supposedly spent 2 hours in the room already and there is no other available rooms. I showed him the pictures I have taken and with no interest in helping me he told me there's nothing else and just turned his back and walked away. This is very very disturbing and the biggest waist of money for such a filthy place. For $80 I could have stayed at the hilton... Please be aware of this disgusting place I have attached pictures for your reference.
We chose this place because my husband and I attended a party nearby. At first glance at their sign, I thought it looked old and run down so I didnt expect anything but a bargain. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are beautiful, recently remodeled. Everything was clean. Enjoyed cable TV, fridge, and microwave. We will definitely stay there again when we're in town
