All I needed was a shower and some sleep between flights, and this was a reasonably priced choice. I called them when I arrived at the airport, they told me exactly where to stand and that they would tell the shuttle driver to look for me, and the shuttle was there in five minutes. On a dark, rainy night, that was much appreciated. When I checked in, I asked where I could get some water, since I was thirsty from the airplane and it was late already, and the clerk handed me two bottles of water. Again, much appreciated.
The room itself had a faint mildew smell. It had some of those dark surfaces that you can't tell whether they're clean or not and very outdated decor, a fake colonial Spanish/Mexican look. But the bathroom was very clean, the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good for California, and the bed was comfortable.
The little breakfast included coffee, instant oatmeal, pre-packaged muffins, boiled eggs, and pre-packaged "vegetarian omelet puffs," which the breakfast attendant heated up in a microwave for me. They did have a really nice selection of tea, including herbal, regular, and decaf. It's not a gourmet breakfast, but it was enough to get me started before my next flight, and it opens at 4:30 a.m.
The shuttle van back to the airport was prompt and quick, too. This is a place to stay for the airport related convenience and services, not for the hotel itself.
