This is our second time eating at Wonderful, and definitely not my last. The homemade noodles were delicious, the ma po tofu was one of the best I've ever had, and overall, every dish was very tasty. The service was good and friendly, and I can't wait to return to Wonderful, a wonderful restaurant.

Wonderful made the Michelin list of Bib Gourmand for very good reason. I came here as a guest of my sister and the place is quite incredible. While a little pricier than a typical Chinese restaurant there are few that compare at their price point. I came for lunch as dinner is quite crowded and lines are more common than not and they don't take reservations. The kitchen is visible from the dining room and you can see over 50 pork bellies hanging from hooks to age some more.

The decor is traditional but there are no round tables so you would be best to have a small group of 6 or less. While the restaurant is small there are some booths seating four towards the rear of the restaurant that offer more intimacy. The service was excellent but we were there when it opened for lunch. And the food, the food is almost beyond description. One dish we ordered was string beans with eggplant, garlic and smoked pork belly. Another was cauliflower with pork belly. The piece de resistance was the chili fish filet over tofu. The fish was moist and plentiful.

I will certainly return with my wife and recommended Wonderful to all of my close friends.

Thank you very much for your kind words and excellent review. I am glad that some people realise that Bib Gourmand awards are not just handed out to random restaurants, although that is the impression that some ignorant diners have. We look forward to welcoming your family and close friends back in the future.

After a long travel day, this place really helped put a good end on the day. Great, authentic and funky flavors. The pork with pickled veggies was great, as was the noodles with cabbage and potato. The service is friendly and efficient and the pricing fair for the quantity and quality you receive.

We ordered Chinese Hamburg, smoked pork stir fry, green onion pancake and stir fried rice. The green onion pancake is good, crispy skin with layered center. very tasty. The fried rice is good but oily. Smoked pork is very fatty(60-70% of fat, only about 30% of lean meat), with skin attached, the lean meat is dry, the skin is tough to chew. The Chinese version of hamburger is disappointing, I expect to see sliced cooked beef and green onion and lattice, and tomato... but the bun taste like English muffin, center is filled with chunk of twice cooked pork( also fatty with pork skin attached, and a lot of cilantro).
Table setting is good, some seating are separated with screens, made of long sticks. A nice touch and functional arrangement. The weird display is a giant red flag covered the whole window area in front, made the whole decoration odd and uneasy at eyes.
