Having researched long and hard through various rental agencies we thought we had found the perfect rental. The description certainly ticked all the boxes. But on arrival and closer inspection we realised it was quite dirty. We cleaned all the windows and mirrors. There was a leak in the bathroom and the air conditioning broke down. All were fixed by the owner. Bedroom 3 had sliding doors that were broken which proved a security risk as it led on to a shared area. Wi-fi was intermittent and could only be made from bed no3. One of the fly screens was broken and laying on the adjacent flat roof. Kitchen equipment was poor and fridge water system didn't work. Cupboards and drawers were full of junk. The apartment was advertised as having tennis courts but when we tried to book a court we were told we had to join as temp members at $10 pp a day even though we were technically sub tenants. This was a retirement community and not children orientated. We have stayed in rental accommodation in the States for over 30 years and this was the most disappointing.
