This hotel is a bit outdated.
It is ok to stay for one night, but not very comfortable.
The location is good, and staff are attentive.
The view was ok, but room is small and lack of amenities.
Valet parking was good. Wifi was not fast enough and not free for better speed.

Nice place to stay in Los Angeles. Quiet area thats a bit out of the way if you’re going to Staples Center etc.
Reception is friendly and the hotel offers a great free shuttle service for anywhere within a 3 mile radius and will even pick you up. It stops running at 10pm. Nice restaurant / lounge on premise with valet parking. Not many other restaurants in the immediate area though.
Rooms are very large and spacious.

Great hotel with nice gym, but a bit pricey. Rooms are huge and clean, but old. Staff is extra helpful! 5 star service! Location is great to visit nearby museums, Grand Central Market, art district etc. DTLA is amazing.

I booked this hotel due to the high rating but unfortunately a disappointment.

I will start with the check-inn, today it becomes clear to me that I was charged 3 times for a deposit - first for 269.48 $ - according to the receptionist this amount is denied, and 2 more charges for 200 $ - this is unacceptable.
The rooms were nice, big and clean, but it was impossible to sleep at night because of loud music from outside, It turns out that performances take place close to the hotel until the late hours of the night. I arrived after long flights that accumulated to 18 hours and I just wanted to sleep, it did not happen here.

The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to explore DTLA. The rooms are fine.
But, my recent trip was disappointing because it is a harsh example of a common business practice in the hotel industry.
Our room rate was $215/night. But...there was also a $30/day destination charge buried in he fine print. That fee, I assume, cover the use of the gym (good for a hotel) and pool (kinda meh). They also charged $52/day for parking. That is $82 in charges beyond the room rate. The room actually costs nearly 40 percent more than the room rate.
The hotel was basically self-service...we didn't see housekeeping the length of our stay. I hope this changes post pandemic.
