I stayed at this hotel as it was one of the accommodation options for a big conference & expo I was attending at the convention center. Courtesy shuttle to/from the center was provided by the conference organizers (it's too far to walk unless you're an exercise freak!) The people here were very friendly yet professional. The room was great with a comfortable bed (though I wish the pillows had a bit more body - one was too low and two were too high for me) and a lounge chair with footstool. Lovely big bathroom with separate bath and shower. I enjoyed eating at the Noe restaurant a few times during my stay, and the breakfast buffet in the Grand Café was excellent.
The hotel is at the top of the hill and I found it was about a 10 minute walk downhill to downtown, but it was extremely steep in places (made my 61-year-old knees hurt!) so I grabbed a cab back up. I read that the Angel's Flight funicular railway is not far away, which would be another option for getting up/down the hill, but I didn't have time to check tha out.More
