Really cool place with a lot to see but definitely need to plan your trip out. You will battle crowds, parking, and more trying to visit. Check the Greek Theaters schedule and avoid going on a night they have an event because traffic is a lot worse on those days. Also, parking is iffy and you will have a hard time finding an open spot, but there is a free lot at the bottom that requires about a three quarter mile uphill walk. It isn’t bad in the morning or at night but middle of the day would be rough.

Absolutely amazing place. Free entry, great knowledgeable lecturers and if you wait until sunset the most amazing views over the Hollywood hills. Once the sun has set you can use the telescopes to star gaze - this is a free activity.
You pay for movies in the planetarium but it is well worth it.
Obviously for those who are movie addicts- there is the Lala Land connection as well

Great views with the naked eye outside! Inside you can view/learn, listen to free guided tours or just walk around & read yourself. Even our teenagers enjoyed this stop.

It's free to visit. We visited near sunset.

Parking was a bit difficult. There was nothing near the top. So, we parked a bit away from the building and walked up. When we walked up, there was available parking..

This place is absolutely scenic.

The inside is an interesting 30 minutes to walk through. My friend wanted to try the mist / fog machine but unfortunately, it was broken.

They also had a cafe, which is a bit pricey.

I bought a pin and a sticker from the gift store.
