We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the staff were all delightful and very welcoming.
The breakfast is good and we had an excellent meal in Le Paradis restaurant in the hotel , overlooking the Kiso river. The onsen in the hotel is very good and it is a short walk to the castle and the old town, which has interesting little shops, food outlets and museums- don't mis the karakuri puppets. The hotel is opposite the beautiful Uraku-en gardens and at night you can watch the cormorant fishing on the river. A great place for a short stay.

Room tip: Overlooking the river

Old fashioned hotel in Inuyama, Meitetsu chain hotels it's one of the most important in Japan. Very nice view to the city and the river. Nice option if you want to take a coffee and a piece of cake with views. Totally recommend.

This is THE place to stay if you want to visit both Inuyama Castle and Museum Meijimura. The restaurants there are excellent, and the service personnel are very competent. It's also directly connected by hourly trains to / from the airport, in addition to regular services to / from Nagoya or Gifu.

Room tip: High-level rooms viewing north or west are more preferable Both Japanese and Western style rooms are available

Beautiful area, walk to trains and shops easily. The nearby castle was worth a visit. Stayed for free with brother who was there for work, not sure of the value, but the breakfast was included which was nice! Easy train rides up north, but not convenient for getting to the bullet train in Nagoya so mostly a stop for going to smaller towns in the nearby mountains.

This hotel is a five minute walk from the river as well as the national treasure Inuyama Castle (which is definitely worth a visit). National treasure tea house can also be viewed (exterior only unless otherwise announced) next to the hotel property (Guided tour is included in admission; just ask at the ticket office, because it is worthwhile.)
Extra amenities worth mentioning included tea, local snack sample, spa (hot spring) and yukata.
Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly and greeting folks all the time.
You can get discounted tickets to the castle and other local attractions.
Finally, Meiji-Mura in the vicinity is also a cool attraction.
Overall, nice quiet stay in a comfortable hotel.
