Great location. Peaceful and private. The pool side room is spacious. Unfortunately the hot water takes a long time to heat so you waste water to get it warm. Probably not much they can do about that. Otherwise, clean and nice. Second time we have stayed here.

Quaint little get-a-way. Perfect for a couples retreat. Bill is nice and showed us around when we checked in. It was a rainy weekend but the Inn was cozy and so close to Main Street. Our room was simple and all we needed for our retreat. We had a small ref with water, a Keurig with coffee and creamers, etc. Nice enough.

We spent 2 nights in room one which had a very private patio which we enjoyed. The separate building from the main house was steps away from the small but unique pool which we enjoyed cooling off in after a hot day of hiking. The property is perched on the hillside with quite a few stairs so would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. Bed linens were nice and extra towels provided for the pool, bathroom fixtures were spotless. They no longer provide a continental breakfast but a Kuerig and coffee pods were in the room. Less than a 5 minute walk to Main St. and the many restaurants and bakeries there. Excellent value.

We received a very warm welcome from the lady standing in for the proprietors, who were away. Parking was a little mucky in the wet weather at that time and the steps down to the property, which is separate from the main house, was a little precarious. Nevertheless, the room is spacious, clean & tidy and more than adequate. The décor has been done in traditional style. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine and the facility to have a bath or a shower was a luxury. We also had access to a utility room, which was useful for preparing breakfast. The microwave machine was a little old and worn out but it did the job. The room is within a short walking distance of the town, so within easy reach of the restaurants in the evening. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for money.

If you are looking for a B&B experience where you visit with the owners and other guests over breakfast, don't come here. The room was OK, although we did not get the room I had requested and reserved (not sure why that happened), but breakfast was not in a common area, it was two muffins on the countertop in the bedroom, along with small containers of juice in a mini fridge and supplies to make our own coffee. Yes, it qualifies as "breakfast" of a sort, but not the kind I expect from a B&B. My husband's comment was "we would get a much better breakfast at a Super 8 than we did here."

Also, be aware that this inn is right next to the main highway, with all three rooms facing the highway, and there's a lot of traffic noise.

The owner seemed nice, for the 2 minutes that we interacted with him, and the room was comfortable (although with the above-mentioned traffic noise).
