We went to a wedding at the Lodge, In general the lace is run down, general maintenance is badly needed. The pool is closed and although we enjoyed the wedding, and the food was good its in sad condition. Maybe 30 years ago this place was in its prime. The gazebo floor has holes and the carpeting is ripped and torn.
I was in several of the rooms, they were sort of clean, old, rustic, and no air that i could tell. The dining room was the best part, it was the best part, but just passing acceptable. The food service was good, i enjoyed the food, but dont expect a great presentation. It is in the mountains, the trees are pretty, at night it comes together because you cant see the run down condition. If you dont mind rundown, old, banisters full of tree sap, that is what is there. It was HOT, no air where the wedding was held or in the dining room, the bar area had air, want to keep the drinkers happy, lol. This is my honest opinion and looking for the positive at this old rustic lodge.More
