“Relaxing desert serenity with everything you want in a getaway spot, and amazing sunsets!!”
Reviewed 4 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Great place, we loved every minute of it & wished we could have stayed longer. It felt like we were staying at a friends house while they were gone. Close enough to town that quick trips weren't too bad, but far enough away that the traffic & city lights weren't an issue either. We stopped on the dirt road on the way out once to take pictures, & a local resident stopped to check on us to make sure we were ok... I guess the Prius was a sign that we weren't normally cruising the rural dirt roads around there ; ) The road is sandy, but easy to get thru, & the fenced yard was great for the young daughter & the dog to not wander too far, with a great assortment of cacti & beautiful bushes, that we literally just walked around the perimeter of the yard several times. The Ocotillo is beautiful, & the recycled satellite dish/sun shade was awesome too, just watch your head if you're +6' tall. Lots of pretty moths, birds, & dragonflies to watch too, but we didn't get to see any other desert creatures other than the quick occasional lizard. It can get a bit breezy during the day, but so does the rest of the desert, & everything around the property was exceptionally clean. Great lil house, with a ton of character & thought put into the functionality of everything. Turn off the jets in the spa at night while stargazing & listen to the coyotes, or just enjoy the silence. Either one is pretty amazing. Thank you, we loved the place & will definitely be back!!
