My husband and I got married in Healdsburg and visit often. We live just over an hour away, so we usually drive home after spending the day up there, but sometimes we decide to stay over last minute. This particular night, we decided that we would stay over. All of our usual places were booked, so we decided to check out Haydon Street Inn. The owner met us at the door and was very accommodating and friendly. She even upgraded our room because they had some extra space that night and we were there last minute. I tend to be drawn more to modern hotels, but this B&B was very nice! Our room was large, with a great soaking tub and had a cozy feel to it. We could easily walk to town, for dinner, from Haydon Street. The following day we were treated to an excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend Haydon St. B & B.

John and Keren are very gracious and accommodating hosts. Keren helped us find and book a wine tour and a canoe trip on the Russian River, The beds are so comfortable and John cooks the best breakfast. We will be back every year!

Love the location and charm of Hayden St. Inn. A short walk from downtown, tasting rooms, and the Russian river. We stayed in the sunset room, which was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, and the owners were extremely thoughtful and kind about my dietary restrictions.

I think what prohibited this B&B from being a 4/5 star location were a few key moments during our stay.

1) Breakfast was delicious, but it is only served once at 9. I wish it had been a little earlier, by the time you finish breakfast and leave your room, it's 10am or after. There was a moment when another guest was scolded for putting their cup on the table, not the placemat. Very uncomfortable.

2) We booked through hotel tonight and feel very loyal to this app since it has saved us numerous times. Keren seemed displeased and told us to book directly next time to save money. Being told you overpaid on your way out the door is very discouraging.

Overall we had a lovely time due to the location and facilities. Would return to the area again.

Hi Maggie, Glad you enjoyed your trip to Healdburg. Yes, we do list our property on Hotel Tonight. I mentioned that you can always get the best price when you book directly with us, no matter if you book on Hotel Tonight or Expedia or Travelocity. These are third party booking engines with whome we will continue listing our property. They are a great way to advertise. I was not displeased that you booked with us using Hotel Tonight...in fact, quite the opposite. I apologize if it came off that way. I was trying to give you a helpful hint to save you a few dollars in the future by calling us directly to book.

Our home is filled with unique furniture, including lots of antiques. Cold, wet glasses do a number on our furniture and many beautiful pieces bear the scars of unattended, wet glasses. I'm sorry you felt awkward when I moved a guest's glass back onto the placemat, but I was trying to protect our table. People don't put their glasses there with the intent to damage furniture, but just forget how quickly water can leave a mark.
Best,
Keren and John

We loved our stay at the Haydon Street Inn. John and Keren couldn't have been nicer, or more helpful. And their dog, Bailey, was absolutely adorable! Our room, the Victorian, was spacious, private and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and much appreciated after long days of sightseeing and wine tasting. The real show stopped at this inn is the 3-course breakfast. Every bite was delicious. The location is fantastic, just a few blocks to the center of town. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you John and Keren for making our stay so enjoyable!

Room Tip: Although you have to walk up a steep flight of stairs, the Victoria Room is superb.

This is the most amazing inn at which we have stayed. The proprietors are terrific---helpful, knowledgeable (important in wine country), experienced, and caring. No matter what it is, Keren knows the score, and John makes stunning breakfasts. Bring your appetite! During our stay, one of the guests commented, while we were talking about restaurant experiences in Healdsburg, exclaimed, "This is the best restaurant in town!"

Be sure to note that they also host afternoon wine tastings---snacks included, often with vintner visits. And on Tuesdays, all guests are invited to be on-blanket in the town square for the weekly concerts.

Truly awesome.

Room Tip: The innkeepers can advise, based on your likes.
