Owner description: Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard & Winery welcomes guests by appointment for four unique tours and tastings. From perennial gourmet wine tastings with food pairing in our cellar room and walking tours through our iconic chateau, to epicurean excursions across our scenic property and festive holiday celebrations offered seasonally, there is something for everyone to enjoy. All tours include both walking and seated tastings, each featuring seasonal tastes from the Jordan chef paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan's Estate Tour & Tasting also includes driving. Advance reservations are required due to the intimacy of tastings. Inspired by the timeless elegance of French wine and food, Tom and Sally Jordan founded Jordan Vineyard & Winery in 1972. Their vision was to create a wine estate that produced food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to rival the finest in France--and to capture the essence of gracious hospitality. Today their son, John, builds upon their legacy. “Class act”
Reviewed 7 December 2011

We did a pairing with Pete as our host. This was probably our favorite tour. The grounds are beautiful and the presentation of the wines matched with food was outstanding. First stop was an outdoor overlook with our Chardonay chilling in the cool December morning. After the tour we settled into the library to experience more food and wonderful Cabernets. Don't forget to make an appointment. Definitely worth the trip

“Best winery in Sonoma”
Reviewed 15 November 2011

Be sure to book in advance, this stunning property produces some of the BEST wine in California (my personal favorite winery in the US). The staff is impeccably polite and unpretentious. The grounds are immaculate and the on-site chef creates amazing pairing to enhance your already fabulous experience.

“Beautiful estate, even better wines”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

The Jordan Vineyard is beautiful estate located in Alexander Valley. The drive is magnificent - have the top down for this one! We chose the library tasting which included a selection of current releases and library wines paired with a delicious himachi amuse bouche and artisan cheeses. It was limited to 12 people, so it felt more private than the typical tasting bar. Well worth the trip and tasting fee.
