This is a Japanese restaurant all you can eat in 2 hours or all you can wait in 2 hours. We were there on a Saturday at 5 pm opening time trying to beat the crowd. There is a sign said there is a 2-hour limit. We were seated 20 minutes later although there were several empty tables.

It is not a self-serve buffet, each person can order 3 items at a time. After your order arrives, you can order next 3 items and so on... Sounds good, so we did as directed.

The food is very average and small portion. Well, this is all you can eat place, so we can just order more later. Not so fast. The first item in our order did not arrive for 15 minutes and the next item another 15 minutes. The 3rd item (crab ceviche) did not arrive and the waitress took our second order. I reminded her that we still had one item left. She acknowledged. It took another 30 minutes for 2 of 3 items in the second order to arrive. Again the 3rd item (lobster ceviche) did not come. I asked again and she said that they all out of ceviche. Already? We were one of the first to arrive at the restaurant when it opened on a Saturday evening. Next they ran out of beef in BEEF SUKIYAKI, they ran out of avocado in TUNA & DICED AVOCADO, yet in our DRAGON ROLL there were plenty of avocado. Finally they "ran out" of green tea ice cream, only vanilla flavor left. After our 3rd order, we told the waitress it was our final order, boy did the order come quick - within 5 minutes. Overall it was not a good dining experience. We left at 7:30pm. Felt dissatisfied and cheated.

This is an all you can eat sushi restaurant. $41 for all you can eat dinner, or $50 for all you can eat dinner and drinks (beer and sake). You can pick any 3 items (per person) off the menu at a time. Our first round (9 items) was great although one item we ordered never showed up. Food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and delicious. Second round was only 4 items. Took a little longer for them to come out. But when they did it was again very good. We were feeling up but wanted to try a couple more items. After a good 20 min wait our waitress finally checked on us to see if we wanted anything else. Ordered the 3 items. 20 minutes later we still did not have our food. Finally the one item came out. 10 minutes later another item came out. Our waitress apologized for the last item taking so long and said it should be ready in another 5 minutes. We were full and tired at this point and just asked for our bill instead.

I wanted to like this place. The all you can eat menu style lends itself to trying a variety new things--which I did. Every dish was just mediocre. If you're not picky and don't mind slathering your fish in sauces, it could be ok.

If quantity is more your aim and you've got some time, this would likely be fine.

smells so bad inside.
Dont have enough air inside restaurant. Waited for food almost 30 min we think they need to give some snack when people are waiting, it will help them a lot as they prepare too long

For sashimi lovers, Monster Chef with All-You-Can-Eat for weekend lunch at $29 is a steal. Sashimi of all kinds are fresh. Many cooked food dishes: deep fried baby octopus & clam in broth are good. Add $7 AYCD sake or beer. Add $10 for Uni or Toro. For 4 of us, we split 28 orders for $50 each. Tuna from Pacific is not as rich & firm as that of Atlantic. Excellent value especially with a bunch of hungry boys. Service is attentive & friendly.
