Paisano's Pizza and Pasta Restaurant has changed names and is now known as Pizza Grande, which also now serves Middle Eastern/Mediterranean dishes to enhance the menu and experience. The also have a dessert case to take home some of the homemade desserts. Not large inside, but the food is good, the pasta has always been large portions and end up taking about half home. Have ordered pizza several times for take home, which is always hot and tasty. Place is not much to look, more along a hole in the wall, but don't let that fool you, if in and looking for a casual place to go in shorts for lunch or dinner, then try here.

We planned a trip to Grover Beach to go to Paisano's Pizza and Pasta Restaurant. When we got there we discovered that it had been sold 30 days earlier and had a new name, Pizza Grande, and a new menu. The new owner, Sam, has maintained many of the Italian pizza and pasta dishes typical of a good pizzeria, but is incorporating several Middle Eastern/Mediterranean dishes to enhance the menu. Our large cheese pizza was excellent; a perfect blend of hand-tossed crust, rich, spicy pizza sauce and cheese; served piping hot fresh from the oven. Our server/cashier, Nina, was a delight, explaining the new menu items and making sure we had a great time. A highlight for us was meeting Sam and hearing about his plans and philosophy. Before we left, in addition to our leftover pizza, we took home some scrumptious baklava made by Nina's aunt, several marinated stuffed grape leaves (yummy!), and a huge portion of freshly made tabbouleh; finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, onion, bulgur, cucumber, mint leaves, olive oil and lemon juice-so refreshing! This was a much different experience than we expected that turned into a wonderful adventure. The folks at Pizza Grande are terrific and their food is delicious. We'll definitely go back!

This has been our favorite pizza place for over 5 yrs. but a few months ago we ordered our 'usual' and it was awful, we were very disappointed. Everything about it had changed. I'll wait a few more months and try it one more time, maybe they just had a bad spell?

We were referred here by our resort. This was an excellent experience. The pasta, stromboli and pizza was outstanding. The dough is superb! If you are tired of the old chain pizzas, try a great pizza here. The buffet allows you to try a variety of excellent food.
Great experience and the owners are super friendly....

The pineapple and cheese pizza was wonderful and all the others were good too. Great selection of delicious pizza and pasta. I ordered a side salad that was large enough for all three of us to have plenty. This is an all you can eat lunch. The owner was very attentive and the service was excellent. I recommend this place if you are in Grover Beach at lunch time.
