Nice place, decent size, nice decor, pretty noisy
Plenty of parking space, can get busy on the weekend
Prepare for long wait.

Young & hip staffs are friendly, attentive & helpful cater to your needs

Sake too expensive $17 for small bottle

Prices are higher than other places - For lunch is $17.99 Monday - Friday, For dinner (2 options $24.99 and $33.99 for special cuts of meat & seafood) Weekend dinner price all day!!!

Love the wagyu beef & brisket

Overall excellent quality of meats, seafood & more variety of side dishes very consistent, and generous portions

Nice way to end the meal with complementary green tea ice cream - quite refreshing

****Funny way to play an audio recording of Happy Birthday****

Probably the BEST korean bbq! My husband and friends use to go to one in Fullerton all you can eat. But Mr. BBQ has such better quality meat! The cost did go up. Use to be $27.99, now it's $29.99 for dinner (they have two different prices for dinner menus depending on what you want) I love the marinated ribs so we usually get the higher price menu, which includes some new cuts of meat & seafood.

The service is great, the atmosphere is fun. And you get ice cream after dinner ; -)

We came here for lunch on a hot day and decided to forego the BBQ menu since it was pretty warm inside and we didn't want to cook at an open grill. I had the dolsot bimbimbap which was good but for some reason didn't come with an egg like it does at most other places. The complimentary salad and side dishes were great and service was prompt and friendly. Love that they give you a little mini ice cream dish for dessert at the end (my favorite flavor, mint chocolate chip!). Would definitely go back to try the BBQ, maybe in the fall or winter when it's a little cooler.

First off, my only reason for the 4 stars is because they need seating for older people. The stools in the waiting area are too high and uncomfortable for older folks, and the wait can be quite a while, but well worth it! This was my first trip to a Korean Bbq and it definitely won't be my last. The wait was about 1 hour, and once we were seated we were quickly helped by a very kind young man who was very attentive throughout our meal. The meat is delicious and with the level of dinner we ordered, it offered more than what we needed. It included sea food, beef, pork, chicken and many different types. I was really surprised that they offered so much variation and each was delicious. We never felt rushed and enjoyed our meal. The grill was changed about half way thru the meal so we could grill on a clean surface. The sides are also delicious. If you like Korean bbq or this is your first time like me, you can't go wrong with Mr. Bbq, it is well worth the price and the service is among the best we've ever had.

Our family has heard about this place and decided to come here for lunch on a Friday. Note that lunch is only available on Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday have dinner all days. Lunch is $17.99 each and can be higher if you choose another PAYCE menu.

Most of the meats are similar to other AYCE Korean BBQ places. However, the meats here are a little higher quality and better marinated. The Korean side dishes are way much more better than others. This place has mussels but not shrimps for the $17.99 price. Cold noodle is included, but not the rice cakes.

The salad is very well made - we liked it. The soup is much better than other AYCE.

Mr. BBQ is a good Korean AYCE. We recommend it.
