It is sad to see a relatively new propery get run down so fast. The walls have numerous spots where paint has chipped off, door frames in the bathrooms hve rust spots and carpets dirty. We selected the property because our family lives west of SR 99 and this is an ideal location, but we see the signs of a lack of attention to detail over the past two years. I fear it is tie to look for another location. Finally, while breakfast is included in thh price of the room, the coffee is so weak it tastes like tea. Go to McDonalds located just block away on Shaw Ave.

Room Tip: HVAC unit is loud and the property is near the Santa Fe train tracks.

I would like to thank you for your feedback and let you know that some of the issues you have mentioned have been taken care of. All of our door jams were re-primed and painted in January. We also had our carpets cleaned as we usually do on a quarterly basis or sooner if needed. We are currently working on touch up paint in each of our rooms. Little by little we are working on these projects. I would like to reassure you that we were aware of these issues and we take your feedback very seriously. I apologize that your last stay did not meet your expectation. We would love to see you back next time you come to visit your family.

I travel on business on occasion and my wife travels with me. We found this La Quinta Inn & Suites to be very pleasant. The desk clerk welcomed us with a smile. We were sniffling a little bit because of alergies and she immediately offered us, not only a tissue, but the whole box of tissues. We returned later to borrow a stapler and she immediatley produced one for our use. As we started to leave to go back to our room, she called us back and gave us a small snack bar. Everyone who works at the reception desk is friendly and greeted us every time we went through the lobby.

Their complimentary breakfast, while not sumptious, is well prepared and the ladies who work in the breakfast room are very pleasant and solicitous of your needs. They provided scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, "make your own waffles", muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, cereal, orange juice and apple juice.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable. The room has a real wall thermostat for regulating the heat and cooling in the room. The hi-speed internet works great.

There is no restaurant on the premises, but there are numerous restaurants within a very short distance.

There are a lot of blue collar workers staying here, but other than cheering loudly for Monday night football in the breakfast room, they do not disturb others awya from that area.

We will definitly use this hotel when we visit Fresno in the future.

Room Tip: Our room at the north end of the third floor was very quiet.

We (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 pet) make many trips to Fresno to visit family and almost always need a room. We got a double queen for $80.00 with our AAA discount. Pets at no charge when other hotels charge an extra $20. Room was small, but all we do is sleep there. Refrige and microwave is standard. This was our first stay at this hotel. The room was 20-30$ less than the competition (we have stayed at the nearby ramada, holiday inn, etc.) and in my opinion, just as clean. The continental breakfast included sausage and eggs which others dont, and the room had a bigger tv than the competition although channel selection was limited. Staff was friendly, even chased me down to return my pillows that I brought just in case (even though i didnt need them). Train tracks are nearby and this particular night trains passed every hour until midnight, air horn and all. Could be a problem for some, but this particular night, we were ok with it. We were happy with our stay and we will be trying them again and hoping our next stay will be as pleasant as this.

This was our first La Quinta. Chosen for location and being dog friendly. First, they don't charge extra for your dog, and traveling with a well behaved, non-shedding dog we appreciated that their expectations are just that pet owners be responsible for their pets.

Christine Farinelli was on the Front Desk and was so helpful and friendly. She directed us to a great park for walking our dog, signed me in to their rewards program and then happily printed off directions to our next hotel when I could not get the guest printer to work.

Our room was roomy, new and very clean. The location just off the I5 and near a long strip of malls and restaurants. The immediate area adequate for tending to basic dog needs, not good enough for an "exercise walk".

It is near some train tracks, I didn't notice even though I like the sound of trains - my husband noticed them slightly.

This was such a good experience I planned our next day's travel according to where we could stay at another La Quinta.

Room Tip: East side rooms are likely to be the quietest.
