Fantastic food. Glass noodle soup was on point, broth not too salty like other places. Soup dumplings were some of the best I've had, and I've been around. Service is hit or miss but once you order the food comes fast. Worth the 30 minute drive past some better known places to enjoy a great meal.

Closed on Tuesdays!!

This place gets busy for dinner during the weekend, especially if you come with a group larger than 4. Service can be lacking if they are busy.

Best xiaolongbao (XLB) in the Bay Area! The pork & crab filling is my favorite, and each XLB has so much soup inside! Another must-get here are the noodles. Whether you like it dry or with soup, the noodle dishes will not disappoint! ! I prefer the dry noodle. The Qishan minced meat noodle and tomato & eggs noodle are amongst my favorite.

Tip: They make delicious dumplings which they sell frozen. You have to get at least 50. Ask the waiter since it's not available all the time.

Went here, hoping for a fun experience to take friends and celebrate daughter's birthday. Tried to overlook the abrupt, rushed and cold service, anticipating a great Shanghainese meal, like we had in China. the place was packed so we were ushered in and out very quickly; given literally 2 minutes to decide on our order.
The green vegetable dishes were good--flavorful and not overcooked, however, the xiolongbao was not delicate at all. We found the dough to be rubbery, thick, and easily broken, unlike the magical beauties they should be. They stuck to the bamboo tray. The meat variety was okay, but the veggie dumplings were quite clunky and unappetizing. Reminded me of the Costco frozen Ling Lings that people buy! ugh. Our table was set with forks and there were no water glasses--too rushed to even think about asking for chopsticks or water! Nice that we got free mango jello as a dessert and the tea was included. Disappointing and honestly, rather embarrassing to try to celebrate with family and friends.

I've been here multiple times and keep coming back for the pork dumplings. They are truly superb. Service is quick and polite. Recommended for that authentic taste of Shanghainese dumplings.

This place is located off the normal beat in Fremont. At first it looks like it may be a tiny hole in the wall from the outside, But once you step inside you'll see the hustle and bustle of many people as well as a line to get a seat. You take a number to be seated, but don't you worry you will be immediately seated even though the line is long. Some people complain about the service but it's only because the workers are quick to get your table, get your order and get the food to you quickly. They don't sit and chat with you, nor do they chat with themselves in the back as they are hurrying to feed the hundreds of people eating. There was never an empty table at this place. Now onto the food.
We ordered pork and shrimp dumplings, pork and crab dumplings, combination fried rice, chicken chow mein, spicy wonton, noodle soup, Fried potstickers, and honey walnut shrimp. All was absolutely amazing except for the honey walnut shrimp it was covered with a thick layer of sauce made of mayonnaise. Not too Chinese for me! They would deliver the dishes a couple at a time but very quickly so you weren't waiting too long. This is a chopstick only place so if you want a fork make sure you ask, the waitress will dig one up for you also if you want anything to drink, they do carry the signature Coke and sprite. Your table will have a pot of green tea for you.
This looks to me to be a local Asian community hotspot, as there was 98% Chinese in the restaurant and very few that were missing out on the wonderful cuisine.
I must place go with your family, your friends, or even alone. However if you go alone, you may be sitting with people you do not know as the tables they try to fill as much as possible. We were the lucky ones that had a table to ourselves as we went with the family.
