Sutter Street Taqueria is amazing! In the short time it has been open we have been there numerous times because we absolutely love it. The tacos are delicious. The pork and chicken chile verde are both outstanding. And now they have added al pastor - can't wait to try it. The prices are very fair considering the quality and the quantity of food you receive. Authentic beverages include horchata, jamaica (hibiscus), and Jarritos soda. We take all of our visitors here and they have all loved it. Go and enjoy!

Great place to satisfy your craving for authentic mexican, in historic Folsom downtown. Food is fresh, tasty (no canned beans for you here) and muy muy authentic.

Probably the priciest taqueria we've ever been to. You definitely pay for the location, which is undeniably charming. But the food doesn't live up to the price. The fish tacos have some kind of thousand island/bbq type sauce on them. It's all you can taste and it's awful! Carnitas and chicken chile verde are good but not the best. If we're going to pay prices like that, we'll go to an actual Mexican restaurant with a full bar, bigger menu and more comfortable seating.

We really loved the restaurant. Most of the tacos are gluten free as they put them on corn tortillas. They will happily make you a burrito bowl (no wrap) if you prefer. The only thing that would make this place better is if they served gluten free beer, which the sweet owner is looking into!

The people that work here are lovely and very nice. The location is in historic Folsom. Plenty of room to eat inside if you get there during non-rush hours.

We tried the chicken quesadilla. Daughter loved it. Shredded carnitas verde. Husband really enjoyed it. I thought it tasted delicious. Not dry at all. I had the grilled chicken taco and the carne asada. I enjoyed the carne asada a lot. The grilled chicken on its own, I didn't enjoy as much. It could have been an 'off" day but it didn't taste charbroiled, which is what I was expecting. Maybe that is the incorrect expectation? But regardless, when I ate the grilled chicken with everything else, it tasted pretty darn good. The salsa with the chips is amazing. It is so fresh and so tasty! I wish they could bottle it up so I can take some home! The green sauce that they put out on the table is also very delicious!

We can't wait to eat here again! Thank you Rosario and Paul for opening up such a wonderful restaurant!
