We chose this restaurant based upon previous TripAdvisor reviews. What a gem! The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night, we did have to wait about ten minutes for a table. A guitar player was in the corner throughout our meal. The music was pleasant, not too loud. We decided to share a couple of appetizers instead of having dinner. The lobster toast was not available, so we chose the Viking (smoked salmon) and Caprese salad, which were terrific. The portions were quite large for the price. There were two women serving that evening, I believe the woman that waited on us may have been the owner. She was warm and friendly, a real delight. She offered wine suggestions & when the first wine was not to my taste, brought me a different selection. The menu is posted online, many delicious options. All bread, soups, and desserts are made in house. I would definitely dine here again if I'm in the area. A true French bistro in Exeter!
