My nephew told me this was a "don't miss" and he was right. Located on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific, contains all kinds of plants and flowers, and the biggest koi you ever saw.

This is such a beautiful and peaceful garden with exotic plants and pretty flowers. It also offers gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. It is a small place but you can spend hours in peace and meditate over there. There is also a very nice gift shop in case you want to buy souvenirs or literature about the place and its founder. Highly recommend a short visit of Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens in Encinitas, California.

But I wouldn't want to paint it. Zingo. Cool place, but why no on the carpy carpy? Well, at least I didn't see any. My eye is injured.

These gardens were very pretty and great ocean views but not as large as I expected. Narrow pathways and security extremely rude about even talking softly to discuss the gardens or the view. Okay if you are a fan of gardens but wouldn't do it again.

Find your zen at this beautifully landscaped garden. It’s got several little nooks with benches for people who want to sit and meditate or just appreciate the beauty and nature. The ocean view is breathtaking. The landscaping is impressive. The koi pond is so well maintained. It is under a pine tree but still spotless! Love this little gem. Always feel at peace after leaving.

Perfect place for a quick stroll or even a meditation or self reflection. Not very big so I generally avoid it on holidays but other days its nice, right on the water so the views are fantastic.

The Gardens are a place of natural beauty and serenity. There are small alcoves which offer seating and spots for quiet contemplation along with amazing views of the ocean. People speak softly if at all, and serenity is the overwhelming feel of this magical spot. A quick stop turned into a 2 hour visit resulting in an overwhelming sense of peace and appreciation of the Gardens' natural beauty!

This is a great place to relax and meditate at sunset on top of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This is one of my favorite places in San Diego County. I have visited here many, many times. Quite a few people come here to meditate, so plan on a quiet visit. The Koi ponds are enchanting and the rest of the small garden sits on a cliff above the mighty Pacific Ocean. This can be a quick stop if you don't plan to sit and meditate. Admission is free however, they do accept donations.
