My wife and I come to Redding area twice a year to visit family. We decided to take a couple days for ourselves and spend time in Dunsmuir, Mccloud, and Shasta. We decided to stay here are were very pleased for the price. The couple that own the place are professional and inviting. They had recently installed new mattresses and allowed us to have a wonderful night's sleep. It isn't fancy at all, but rather, well kept and clean. We will stay here again.

This motel was recommended to me by the owner of Ted Fay Fly Shop. I was very pleased by how clean and up-to-date this motel was
It is a nice family run operation and I would recommend it to anyone. They even have a continental breakfast which is important since all of the breakfast places to in town seem to be closed on weekdays this time of year

This property is listed as one of the top 10 pet-friendly hotels on Tripadvisor. However, when one goes to the hotel's website to check availability you see,
"Pets Pets are not allowed."

It is fine to have the policy but don't allow your inn to be promoted as something that it is not.
I have found this error on several Tripadvisor links.
Wasting people's time.

We stopped for one night on a road trip from San Francisco to Seattle. Dunsmuir isnt very big so we had no trouble finding the inn on the side of the (only ) street. It was a typical motel - two storey, park in front of the room; no elevator; tiny office/ breakfast! room. Not a destination motel but perfectly adequate. We were directed to a micro-brewery/restaurant 5 minutes walk away.Excellent steaks, corn on the cob done on a BBQ out doors (it was very hot) Good local Pinot Noir. Very reasonable. This made our stay in Dunsmuir memorable.

My husband and I stayed here for a great view of Mt. Shasta. The motel hosts were extremely nice and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. They had a very nice outdoor table for an outside meal. Everything that we needed. A simple breakfast was available in the motel office. While there we had a very interesting conversation with our host.
