Stayed here one night. Great bargain at the time. Price has almost doubled since then for some unknown reason, would have liked to have stayed there again while passing through the area. We got in late at night. Be aware, there is not much in the area for eating, everything closes early. There is a restaurant attached to this hotel, but it was being cleaned at the time. 10 pm, for a place that is open 24/7. ???? We had to travel to the next town to get something to eat. At the time, this was a great bargain at about $60 for the night.

We found the hotel comfortable, clean, & quiet. The breakfast provided, however, had changed with new management & was disappointing not in taste but choices one could make. Something we discovered on this trip & not only present in this hotel, was a charge per pet that travelled with you. When booking on line the hotel will show whether it is pet friendly but no where does it show a pet charge. We found that the only way to find this is to go on the hotel website & even there, it is difficult to locate.

In town for a wedding, and the Oak Tree Inn was recommended to us for our stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Although close to the freeway, the room was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Our daughter's wedding was last weekend at Mt. Shasta, CA so we wanted to stay nearby. My wife found the Oak Tree Inn by an online search. It turned out to be fantastic value for money. The staff were super friendly and bent over backward to make our stay pleasant and relaxed. We had an upstairs room which was tough for barely mobile seniors like us but the lawncare staff hauled our bags upstairs and downstairs when we checked out, God bless 'em. If we're back in the area we'd LOVE staying with the OTI crew and Penny's Diner, a fantastic nostalgia filled place open 24 hours a day with a great menu!!

Room Tip: Since the OTI is on an interstate, a room on the mountain side is quieter.
