This is a huge Chinese restaurant with two huge dining rooms connected by a hallway. Along the hallway are individual rooms that can host smaller parties or the partitions between the rooms can be removed to host a bigger party. We ordered 4 dishes for the 4 of us. The Peking duck was very tasty and meaty. The beef with XO sauce was very tender and tasty too. Price however was a little on the high side. The place was nicely decorated. However, it was located inside a dying mall. Most of the big name tenants have moved out. So parking is not a problem since there are so few shops open. We were there on a Wednesday evening and the place was almost deserted. Service was very good since there were hardly any patrons. It is unclear how long the mall would last given the tenant situation which indirectly affects the future of this restaurant.

Also be warned that mango pudding may require getting used to.

Had a family lunch here on Friday around 1:30 PM. By that time, their dim sum service was slowing down, and we had to order a number of things off the menu.

We had one shrimp allergic person in our group, and we had ordered a number of things that we knew featured shrimp, but discovered that even if shrimp is not specifically listed in the food description, it was still incorporated into the food, such as vegetable filled dumplings, and the scallop and abalone dumplings. So probably the best plan is to ask the server individually by dish, and even then, the servers often needed to consult someone else.

Mango pudding may be a feature at this restaurant. But it did not offer universal appeal. At least of the six that were ordered, one person flatly refused to have it. Two toddlers each had one bite and refused to eat anymore. One adult offered to share with her sister and then made her sister eat most of it (and the sister ate it primarily to be polite). It's not awful, and it does taste vaguely like mango, but with a sort of gelatinous texture that people did not seem to care for. No one claimed to actually like it, unless specifically asked.

Be warned that the exit from the parking area next to the restaurant is tricky to get out of. And even following a native out of the area, I still ran over a curb because the turn was still quite abrupt. So exit with caution. :)

Went here for the first time after visiting the area for years and was pleasantly surprised. Make reservations in advance. Got in on time. Good selection. Definitely worth a trip back.

Friends gathering in Dynasty restaurant. The restaurant is always full and require reservation. Majority of shops in the mall were closed. The dim sum is okay based on US standard. There many various of dim sum to choose.

I live in the bay area. I have eaten here a number of time. This is one of the pricier chinese restaurant but then again it is located in Cupertino. If you go to Sunnyvale or San jose you would be a better deal. For a family of 5, 3 kids and 2 adult with the youngest being 4 years old, my average bill for $90- $120 with limited dishes and family style.
Food tasting is average. I am not a foodies but Chinese food is comfort food so my family and I have tried almost all the Chinese restaurant around town. Dynasty is not so special. Service is bad when they are busy. Especially the hostess and younger girl who do the greeting up front. Waiter never smile and are very impatient when they come around and you are not ready to do the entire order. On some occasion I come with my family and kids and they are not too busy they are a little nicer. I would avoid dinning at dinner time. The portion is really small in general but on holidays such as new year and Mothers day. I noticed that the dishes is half the size what you would normally get. We celebrated New year eve here couple years ago and our entire was like the size of a small appetizer. They were over booked so probably ran out of ingredient so we get so little. After an over $350 bill, (4 adults and 4 little kids) we only manage let the little ones eat, all the adult only take a few bites. Not worth it.
