The guest house at Olivas was locate in the country side. There weren't many commercial attractions located near the orchard. There were a number of wine vineyards along the landscape leading up to the property. Once at the property, the guest house was located approximately 2 miles from the road. The drive was a dirt road winding through olive trees ending at the tasting room and guest house. The house was a manufactured home placed on a foundation near the olive orchard. Inside, the home was well kept and clean without many upscale additions. The community area was open concept with bedrooms at both ends of the home (two on one side and one on the other). All rooms were well kept with plenty of space.
The main attraction for our group was to be in the country side. There weren't any disturbances during the day and the evenings were quiet and peaceful. We sat on the large deck area and enjoyed the evening sunsets. In addition, the olive tasting room was near the guest house and allowed for easy access to sample the variety of olive oils and vinegars. Once we arrived at the home, we were welcomed with a note, wine, bread, olive oil and vinegar. Overall, the hospitality aspect was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
