- loved the design of this hotel...the furniture, and room layout was refreshing
- views over the ocean
- comfortable beds...not the regular Asia rock
- the staff here really stood out- genuinely friendly and helpful...so kind to our children...this hotel really stood out in this area
- the earth day activities were a nice touch...movie on the lawn with our kids was memorable
- great breakfast! well rounded selection and beautiful dining room
- very kid friendly hotel
- kids club was great and the location lended itself to allowing parents to relax a bit

Suggestions:

- the fish tank in the pool is so dirty, one cannot see into it. Great idea though
- the large pool with waterslides is quite cramped...strange allocation of the land on the property
- tiles in the other pool were falling off by the dozen
- don't let a private party book out the beachside restaurant on a fully booked weekend- was disappointed we couldn't eat there when we want, BUT the staff set up a table on the lawn next to the restaurant and we had an early dinner. points for trying and points for addressing this!

Overall- great hotel within a few hours of Bangkok. Great for families with kids.

A very very beautiful and spacious resort. It is right in front the beach and it's also quite private. The hotel room is clean, Breakfast is excellent and so are the staffs. The lobby itself is really open and the hotel has many facilities. There are two pools, both are in front of the beach.
The only downside is the location, there is hardly anything to do, or to see. But as said the hotel resort was excellent.
We had an enjoyable stay at Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa.

Got a bad experience on my first call to this resort. My line was transferred to the Marriott cluster reservation and I want to check the loud noise of event on 20 Apr. However, the staff name Kotchaphan could not answer my simple question regarding the loud noise event at the resort and she asked me to call back to the resort. I made my second call to the resort but no in-house reservation staff were available. My line was transferred to Kotchaphan again and she repeat the same words, not very helpful, no service mind. I call the resort again and wait for a long time then my line was transferred to executive office! Khun Kung was very nice and helpful and could answer my question. If cluster reservation cannot answer any simple questions or not very helpful, no information, then no point to have this process transferred to the cluster reservation. I never stay with this resort but very disappointed.
