There is nothing fancy about this restaurant. It is the epitome of your local coffee shop, except that this one caters to the local cowboys. Located right in a working cattle yard, you get all the sights, sounds and smells that you would expect when being around cattle and cowboys. But the food is the real deal with good down-home cooking. They are famous for their biscuits and gravy, which I highly recommend. You can drizzle that good gravy on anything! Your coffee up will never be empty!

Good food: breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a definite local special. You can walk in and be seated with you muckers on, leaving your horsetrailer in the parking lot and not feel out of place. This is a blue jeans, boots, plaid shirts and cowboy hats abode. Friday mornings are busy because the Auction Yard is the largest on the West Coast and is adjacent Vic's. Vic's also does catering and if you have an event: WOW! can Vic provide dinner for 200 or 500. He is Good.

Great place to stop---get off at Gas Point rd off of I-5---go east to main street and turn north----its on the east side of road---sits back by scales and cattle.Great place to stop for a cup of coffee--use the clean rest rooms----get some breakfast-lunch or dinner----lots of good food to choose from. This is a very family friendly place to eat---a lot of truckers--ranchers---local people---great food great service.

Girls night out before the Red Bluff Round Up...Wow! It was like going back in time. I had the Peanut Butter Pie, my girls had Apple Pie, a cinnamon roll and the Bread Pudding. We ended up all sharing. Dessert party, yay! It was like something from my grandma's kitchen, only better (sorry grandma). All homemade, fresh and super tasty. The Cinnamon rolls had a light, almost crispy outside and soft, fresh and tasty inside. The cream cheese frosting was a flavorful surprise. The Peanut Butter Pie was sinful. I could really get myself in trouble with that one...and although I have never been much for Bread Pudding this one was to die for. I would love to know what the delious creamy sauce was on top. Yummmmmmmy! I will be back.

Had the fried chicken strip salad, may have been the best I've ever eaten. Don't bother waiting at the table for the check your server will meet you at the register.
