This place has great atmosphere & food. Nice little bar to sit & eat at too if you prefer. Feel like you're dining in someone's home. Local favorite.

A very nice address in Coronado Beach. Good quality French inspired cuisine at reasonable prices. I had Diver Scallops with risotto with a very nice bottle of Spanish Albariño. Service is friendly and relaxed. An ideal location for a romantic diner

I took my wife here for her birthday last night. Waitress was very nice and helpful - liked here a lot. Food was very good. My wife liked the Caesar salad and loved the filet mignon. Nice steak! The escargot was very good. The Coq a Vin was good but a little hard to navigate. My wife enjoyed the chocolate-dessert and I had the Creme burlee. Wine was excellent!

This tiny converted home two blocks from Coronado beach was perfect for the two of us.. friendly bar area with several tables for diners wanting people watching experience.. main dining room comfortably seats fewer than 20 at a variety of two-tops, a booth for four, and several tables that seat four to six. Several other tables in a second room.. great for quiet conversations. Linen-topped, candle-lit tables with views to the bar patrons and outside. Just the right atmosphere fro the delicious appetizers and scrumptious dinners we enjoyed. Staff were friendly, informative, knowledgeable of the varied menu, and helpful with the nice wine list. The beet salad and steak and fries were nicely presented and tasty.. Caesar salad was generous, fresh, and crisp, and the peppered filet with potatoes and green beans were complimented with a bottle of Malbec.. yum! Cappuccino and a wonderful gingerbread dessert topped off the night and sent us on our way to a Lamb’s Theater presentation nearby. If you like the nearby 1500rrrr Ocean, you’ll enjoy this jewel of a restaurant. You know you deserve it.

By 7pm they were out of several of the most popular items. No explanations, the poor waiter just kept saying, "I'm sorry, I just found out that we are out of that." (Really - on a Thursday evening?) The food took so long that we wanted to talk to the manager - who we found out was doing the cooking too. He refused to meet with us. We were told he was too busy and could maybe talk to us in several HOURS. We kept asking and the poor waiter was the messenger, as the manager/chef refused to speak with us. This was supposed to be a celebrate for my 80 year old mom's birthday. We were all so upset by the end of the meal that the evening was ruined. Do yourself a favor - go somewhere else and enjoy your evening.
