Took a quick weekend trip and choose the Casa 425 as we have stayed in other Four Sister sites. Casa 425 is a more modern styled Four Sisters property and we choose the spa tub room. The check in was professionally handled by a super nice young lady (Alex?) Who cheerfully welcomed us and and gave us some basic information. The rooms are all centered around a patio / lounge area with large glass doors and were spacious and clean. Our room had a large spa tub and a big shower. The bed was a memory foam type mattress and was ok . Room was well kept and clean. Downstairs they have a lounge and a restaurant. While we did not try either, we noticed a lot of people enjoying themselves. Located in a vibrant shopping / dining district, there are lots of things to do or places to dine at. Great place to stay if you are touring the Colleges or visiting someone there. They offer a free breakfast but it was cereal, boiled eggs and bread stuff. If you want a hearty breakfast, you will find great options nearby. Worth a look

This hotel has an odd layout. The ground floor rooms open on to the common courtyard where food and drinks are served. The rooms have exterior curtains that can be drawn to separate the patio part of the room from the common courtyard, but this seems claustrophobic. The room we had on the third floor had a bathtub in the middle of it, separated by a sheer curtain. Fortunately, there was also a shower in the room with the toilet and a door. Each room has a wide area in front of the door that serves as a patio with a table and two chairs, but it also serves as the walkway to other rooms, so it is not private. Service is very good. The bartender in the lounge was friendly and fast. The people at the front desk are efficient. The room was clean, as was the entire hotel. The location is perfect. It's the only hotel within walking distance to the village in Claremont. Breakfast is simple but good, cereal, fruit, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice, etc. It is served in the bar area of the lounge. It is possible to eat the breakfast outside in the common area, and that is a nice touch on a pleasant day. The nightly rate was quite expensive, though.

Room Tip: For maximum privacy, avoid the ground floor rooms.

Casa 425 is in Claremont Village a walkable town with plenty of nice restaurants and shops located about a mile from Pomona, Scripps and the rest of the Claremont colleges. The hotel is clean fresh and bright. Modern but cozy with a nice lounge where breakfast (included) is served. We were upgraded to a king suite which was huge and had a refrigerator, soaking tub and an outdoor seating area with nice mountain view. Bed was very perfect and the AC kept the room cool on an extremely hot day. Décor was upscale comfortable. The room faced the courtyard. Around happy hour we faintly heard music (you could just barely hear it in room) and headed down to the courtyard to listen. We could see locals coming to join guests in the big courtyard to hear the band. An mixed crowd not rowdy at all. We left to see a movie (a one minute walk) and came back at 9 and the courtyard was quiet. Wish we had skipped the movie to enjoy the courtyard and music. Breakfast was very nice. We had some fresh fruit (truly delicious and seasonal) and hard cooked eggs. I think there was oatmeal and cereal but we never looked beyond the fruit bowl! We took our bowls up and sat on our balcony to enjoy the morning air. Great stay and nice staff. Easy free parking. We will be back!

My mother and I were in Claremont to visit our son. I have long wanted to stay at Casa 425. Our stay was everything I had imagined. This boutique hotel offers stylish, comfortable rooms. The location is situated in the charming Village area of Claremont. We enjoyed the patio commons for drinks and visiting. The staff was warm and welcoming! I hope for many more weekends!

Arrived at the hotel after a long day of cycling. Check in was smooth, and the room surprised with its spaciousness and the amount of light.

The bathtub being almost in the middle of the room was a different touch, and lent the place a unique touch. Bed was really comfortable.

Plus it's right in the middle of a very cool town. Check out the Back Abbey if you in the mood for a beer - it's really good and right around the corner.
