We were in Cathedral City for 5 days. 3 of those days we ate at Trilussa. The other two we barbecued at the resort. There were 4 adults and 2 young children. The first night we had to sit in the bar as we didn't have reservations. The staff made us very comfortable and the kids were treated well. They are very well-behaved 4 and 5-year-olds but some places aren't as attuned to kids as they were. The kids loved all the attention from the staff who treated them well. The musicians playing were great also as my granddaughter danced with her father. The food is Italian and it is some of the best Italian food I've had. I had the lasagna all three nights. I couldn't resist it. My husband tried salmon, fettuccine, and another pasta dish. The kids had steak and fries, spaghetti and meatballs, and penne pasta. We all loved the bruschetta and calamari. Both grandchildren had calamari for the first time and loved it. The best part is that the waiter not only remembered us but remembered our drinks. Joshua was our waiter and he was excellent. He and Saul made the children feel at home and welcomed. They really went above and beyond. I have to mention the cheesecake. It was mouth-watering delicious! We ordered it twice and now I need to lose the 5 pounds I gained on our vacation. So worth it!
