We chose this place via Expedia and from the outside, the place looks good. The truth is that the room was old and outdated, the furniture was worn and in bad condition and the carpet was disgusting. There is no one at the front desk overnight, coffee service is not available until 7 am in the morning. There were other oceanfront properties that we viewed in person and they were newly renovated for the same price point!!! The mattress was awful, needs to be thrown out.

My wife and I made reservations during December 2017 to spend two nights during Feb. 1-3 201 at Cambria Landing Inn and Suites for her birthday. Our favorite room when we stay at Cambria Landing is room 301. We had requested to stay in Room 310 and our reservation noted that we wanted to stay in room 301 (reservation number was 20775). When we arrived, we were told that our room had been rented out to someone else! The Receptionist got us into another room for our first night and we were able to stay in Room 301 on our second night.
This was an inconvenience and ruined part of our birthday plans because we had to spend part of our vacation unpacking and packing again when we were finally moved to the room that we had originally requested. We enjoy spending our vacations at Cambria Landing but we will be looking at other options next time we visit Cambria.

Cambria Landing is a nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are clean and the view is great. My main complaint was with breakfast. It says it is a breakfast basket and danishes. The breakfast basket was 2 cups of instant Quaker Oats, 2 small apples, 2 Quaker granola bars, and some planters trail mix. The danishes were actually little mini muffins. If you look at what other hotels in the area serve, it was not on par. Also, no A/C which is probably fine most of the time but when we where there it was a bit warm and no ocean breeze so the room didn’t really cool down at night.

Love the hotel and the view, service was friendly and helpful. We plan on coming back for our anniversary. Would love to see live music during the cocktail reception on weekends, but overall very happy with our stay.

Comfort,relaxing, just a wonderful place to recharge and connect. My happy place! Loved the evening reception and sitting outside by the fireplace to watch the sunset and surfers. Lots of great places to eat nearby.
