First time visitors to Jariya's Thai and we weren't disappointed. A small restaurant with just a small number of tables for dining-in but we were going the takeaway option. The menu is quite good for authentic Thai cuisine with a good variety of choices - we went for the Massaman Lamb, Beef Jungle Curry and a serve of Curry Puffs plus boiled rice. The dishes were very nice and the Jungle Curry had quite a good bite to it; the Massaman full of flavour with a good balance of meat to potato. The curry puffs were among the best we've had, although a little disappointed that they weren't served with a Thai dipping sauce.

From phoning to collection was about 15 minutes. The service on pick-up was quick and polite. The chefs are all Thai. Cost very reasonable. Plenty of easy parking in the area. Open 6 days of the week (closed Tues). Will use again.

This is our favourite place to eat - it's super tiny inside and takeaway is the main trade but there are a few tables set up for you to eat at. We love the food here. It is some of the best Thai food we have eaten outside of Thailand. The prices are very reasonable, the serving sizes are great and the customer service is excellent.

My husband and I have almost worked our way through this entire menu and there has not been one dish that we did not love. You can also dine in at a few tables and that is a lovely casual dining experience. The people here are so warm and welcoming, and this energy is clearly in the food every time. I would give her cooking 10 stars if I could. Highly highly recommended if you love GREAT Thai food.

We went here all the time when the old owners had it, brought from here twice since new ownership 1st time was good but last night we were extremely disappointed, food is delish but we've found the sizings have changed, seems to be less in the containers...we brought the honey chicken dish, that had 10 tiny pieces of chicken certainly not worth $16.50 and the Chicken Pad Medmamong (Cashew Nuts) only filled half the dish, we managed to find 2 cashew nuts in there, once again not worth $16.50, also ordered Vegetable spicy fried rice to find they had given us 4 Spring Rolls instead, could have taken it back but after 25 minute round trip couldn't be bothered...sorry guys.

We ordered through menu log. Last time we ordered it was 21/07/17.
So here we are not even a month later. It was awful. Below is what we ordered and the issues.
Pad kee mao - noodles were all broken and soggy. It's a chilli noodle dish but so hot it was not edible. We eat A LOT of chilli. This was ridiculous.
Pad Prik (chilli) - beef was so overcooked it was like eating cardboard! Flavour was ok.
Chicken satay - so dried and overlooked they wouldn't come off the sticks. One stick was almost half the size of the other two.
Pad Thai - soggy noodles and the lid that had Pad Thai written on it was not even that dish...it was the pad kee mao.
Thai beef salad - $18 for cabbage that's past it's used by date, soggy old tomato and lettuce that is the core piece. Beef is tough and just a small amount. Complete rip off! Was the most expensive dish we ordered and it was terrible. Not to mention nothing like a "Thai beef salad!!!!"
Tom Kha Gai - nothing like a Tom Kha Gai!!! Was warm coconut flavoured water. About 4 pieces of chicken and huge pieces are inedible ingredients. The galangal of it was that...was in huge strips and took up most of the room in the soup. When we got it in a small round take away container. There was about 1cm of flavour and you could see the separated coconut hot water/milk.
All in all, both times meals were not delivered on time. I understand it gets busy but we ordered before the shop was even open.
Waste of $85. Extremely unhappy! We actually attempted to order on Tuesday as we enjoyed our meal last time. Opening hours say they are open but they were closed.
It is rare for us to give a bad review about any restaurant but this time we felt we needed to.
