Francesca is an excellent host and the place is fantastic! From there you can visit Trieste, the beaches and neighboring places! Definitively to be recommended if you're looking for a peaceful place immersed in nature and a traditional country style village.
This is a lovely apartment, on the first floor of a renovated old karst house located in a tiny village just across the border from Italy. We loved the peace and solitude, the beautiful scenery, and the feeling of being in a genuine old Slovenian village. Yet at the same time, it is only a short drive to good supermarkets and large towns, and within easy access of many of Slovenia's main tourist spots. The living room is huge with a very high ceiling. It leads out onto a balcony in the shade of a walnut tree, and there is a great view from the living room main window. We also had use of the large garden and the patio. The whole apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean, and we had a great breakfast every morning made particularly good by the delicious homemade cakes and jams. Francesca and Federico are charming hosts and very helpful with advice on what to do. We had a lovely time in this apartment. It has a great atmosphere and we would definitely recommend it.
Excellent breakfast, the host very pleasant and very nice, clean, beautiful apartment, quiet peaceful area but close to major towns.

Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a great time at your B&B and the service was great, especially the breakfast. Your house is restored wonderfully and a great place to stay. A large living room to sit down with our kids and separate bedrooms. A nice and clean bathroom. The Karst aria is beautiful and there is a lot to do close to the B&B. We didn't know that Venice was only a little more then 100km away. Also the caves from Postojna and Skocjan, the Lipicaner horses, Italy and the sea are very close.
Our children had a great time in finding the WW1 metal at the trenches nearby. We have to thank Francesca and Federico for helping them. We can almost start a museum now ;).
Again, thank you for making our stay so great and we are sure we will come back!
A beautiful restored house with nice host Francesca , who prepared excellent breakfast was the perfect end of a beautiful day in Karst. I will definitely come again. I highly recommend it, the price is very acceptable, too.
