Really informed service, an excellent array of tapas that were all quite good. An interesting wine program to boot.

The “arroz negro” (black rice) was delicious, a lot of flavour on it. They invited us to olives while waiting for the rice which took around 30 mn. We made an special order to Paula, and she made us clara de limon, an special drink from Spain even though it was not on the menu. I totally recommend the place.

Visited for dinner mid-week. Food was excellent - wide range of tapas and paella. All the food was high quality, served quickly, and in most cases as good as you would expected to find in Spain. The Paellas were a particular highlight - while perhaps not Spanish-traditional in the combinations, they were outstanding.

We visited for restaurant week, which gave us a chance to sample 9 tapas plus dessert for $25/person. Each course was beautiful, as well as delicious. You can also get very substantial and reasonably priced flights of sherry or, on this occasion, red wine. Especially memorable were the artichokes with wild mushrooms, oloroso and shaved Payoyo and also the potatoes with confit pork, Jamon crisps, aioli and manchego. There were plenty of gluten free options. The pace of service was just right. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and drink options.

This is the second time I've been to La Marcha with muy hubby. And both times we've been pleasantly surprised. The place has a great atmosphere and the service is very friendly. They request half hour for their paella but it came a lot sooner. It was a Wednesday night though and we were sitting at the bar. The place was packed. Make your decision about ordering a paella before coming in and order it as soon as you sit down. To wait for our paella we ordered their octopus tapas over humus which was just delicious. No cocktails but we loved their sangria and wine. Paula, the bar tender, was superb, she made excellent recommendations for wine paring the paella. You MUST dine here, you won't be disappointed.
