Appetizers were great and the kebab meat was tender and very fresh. The service was also very good and the place is quiet and family friendly

I used to love Turkish Kitchen. However, recently, I should have realized something I changed because there were very few people eating there. The lamb shish was practically not able to be cut up, it was so tough. The hummus had no flavoring at all. And my friend's chicken dish was blah. What happened? We had many happy times there, but.....

Centrally located on Shattuck Ave. / corner of University Ave.
The ordered Falafel and Lahmacun (Turkish pizza) were both really good.
Reasonable Prices and friendly service.
Restaurant serves Turkish Efes beer (bottle).

Nice place for a quick bite. Food is good and it is budget friendly. They serve authentic Turkish food and kebabs.

I like especially their lamb shish, but their combo offers combining lamb, chicken, and beef are a good option if one wants to try several things during one visit. Also ask for their wine list to discover Turkish wine that is not well known from that corner of the world.
